Watching the sunset is one of my absolute favorite things to do and this magazine spread is an homage to just that. This piece is also really special to me because it is incorporating some of favorite sunset pictures I have taken and collaging them next to each other to create one long horizon line. My idea to collage together three different sunset photos was to show how no one sunset will ever look the same, to me that symbolizes the beauty in the unknown. In our lives change can be scary in the moment but it makes up the chapters in our story, just like how each day the sunset is different but how each holds its own beauty. Lastly, I chose to have the sunset photos be the whole background because I wanted the reader to feel like they were watching the sunset with me. The text was meant to act as clouds and as you are reading the message its like you are getting lost in clouds.
